About Robert D. Parker, DPM

Robert D. Parker, DPM
Trust your feet to Robert D. Parker, DPM, of Hill Country Foot Specialist. With 19 years of experience and 17 years of service in the area, Dr. Parker offers comprehensive surgical and nonsurgical care for all your foot and ankle problems.

Graduate of Texas Tech University

Born and raised in the Austin area, Dr. Parker is a native Texan who spent his childhood in the Texas Hill Country near Lake Travis. He graduated from Travis High School in Austin, TX, and went on to attend Texas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences.

Residency With the VA

After a career as a professional athlete, Dr. Parker attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL, where he completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and Master of Science.
 
After graduating, Dr. Parker completed his 2-year surgical residency at the Albuquerque Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. During this time as a resident physician, Dr. Parker trained rigorously and extensively in podiatric medicine and surgery.

He currently lives in Creedmoor, TX, with his wife and son. He enjoys saltwater fishing, hunting, golf, and snow skiing.
